Status of the reservoirs. Status of the reservoirs in the Muga, Ter and the Llobregat basins

Evolution of the water reserves in the Muga, Ter and Llobregat basins and in comparison to the average over the last ten years.

The volume of water held in the reservoir is expressed in cubic hectometres (hm3). A cubic hectometre is the equivalent one billion litres of water (1,000,000,000 litres).

Key:

  • In grey: Average for the last 10 years
  • In blue: Evolution of the volume retained in 2008 (hm3)
  • Boadella (capacity: 61.10 hm3)

  • Sau (capacity: 165.25 hm3)

1 hm3 = usual consumption of 5,000,000 people per day
  • Susqueda (capacity: 233.00 hm3)

  • La Baells (capacity: 109.43 hm3)

  • La Llosa del Cavall (capacity: 80.00 hm3)

  • Sant Ponç (capacity: 24.38 hm3)
